  1. Place your bid. Your X handle, your email, how much DOGE you would pay per spot, and how many spots you want, up to 5. Nothing is charged now.
  2. Watch the floor. Bids are secret, but this page always shows the amount you need to beat. Check back during the week: if it climbs past your bid, raise yours. When the clock ends, the 60 highest bids win.
  3. Winners pay and receive. Winners get a DM from our official account, @muskogedoginals. You send your DOGE within 48 hours and give us a Dogecoin address from a wallet that supports Doginals, such as the Doggy Market wallet. One random Muskoge is sent there. Which one is luck: it could be a Common or a Legendary.

Which Muskoge do I get? A random one of the 60 in the auction. You cannot pick, and every bid has the same odds at the rare ones.

What do I actually own? The inscription: a pixel-art portrait written on the Dogecoin blockchain, yours for good, visible in any Doginal explorer. The voice, the quote, the lore and the chat live on this site, where every Muskoge has its stage.

Why 60 and not 69? The Pharaoh, the only Eternal, stays with the team. Another 8 are set aside for the contest prize and giveaways. The other 60, from Common to Legendary, are the ones you bid for.

Do I pay now? No. You only pay if you win, and only what you bid.

Can others see my bid? No. Nobody sees who bid or how much. The only public number is the amount you need to beat, shown above. Only the team sees the list when the auction ends.

Will you tell me if I am outbid? No, bids are private and there are no alerts. The amount to beat is always on this page, so check back during the week and raise your bid if it has passed yours.

Can I bid for more than one spot? Yes, up to 5 at one price each. Every spot is ranked on its own, so you can win all of them, some, or none. You only pay for the spots you win, and each one is a different random Muskoge.

Can I change my bid? Yes, as often as you like: raise the price, or add spots at the same price. You cannot lower it. Use the same X handle.

Who contacts me if I win? Only our official account, @muskogedoginals, by DM on X. Nobody else will ever ask you for DOGE or a wallet. Keep your DMs open during the auction.

What if I win and do not pay? After 48 hours your spot goes to the next bid.

Is this an investment? No. Muskoge is an art collection: 69 hand-made pixel portraits inscribed on Dogecoin. They have no intrinsic value, pay nothing, and are not an investment, a security or a promise of any return. Bid or enter only for the art and the fun. Dogecoin prices move; a Muskoge may be worth nothing to anyone but you. This is parody and fan art, not affiliated with or endorsed by Elon Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, X or the Dogecoin Foundation.

How do I receive it? After you pay, you send us a Dogecoin address you control and we transfer the Muskoge, a Doginal on the Dogecoin blockchain, straight to it.

Which wallet should I use? One that supports Doginals. We recommend the Doggy Market wallet, a free browser extension: it shows your Muskoge and lets you list it for sale. Do not give us an exchange address or a plain Dogecoin wallet: they cannot see Doginals and the Muskoge could be lost.

The launch night

In the spring of 2023 a rocket went up, and a Shiba Inu watched it from a sofa the way dogs watch things they intend to own. Something crossed the wires that night: the internet's favourite dog and the man who keeps promising Mars. What came out was not a dog and not a man. It was sixty-nine Muskoges, all with the same face and none with the same idea.

Sixty-nine ambitions

Each Muskoge woke up with one plan and dressed for it. One for the awards it will accept. One for the trip it swears is next year. One for the all-nighters. One for the plan that went a bit wrong. Sixty-nine plans, sixty-nine Muskoges. All of them serious, none of them quiet.

Carved early

Between the 5th and the 8th of March 2023, while Doginals were only weeks old and the chain was still deciding what an inscription was, all sixty-nine were written onto Dogecoin. Numbers 32,531 to 72,709. Not minted, not promised: inscribed, among the first 100,000, where nobody can move them and nobody can add a seventieth.

The Pharaoh

One of them took inscription #69,423. Three past 69,420, the number the internet treats as scripture. Close enough to be a sign, far enough to be a joke, which is the most Dogecoin thing that can happen to a number. That one wears the crown of the old kings. It is the only Eternal, and it stays with the team, because some things are not for sale.

The pyramid

Sixty-nine is not a crowd, it is a pyramid. Thirty Commons hold the base, the everyday ones in hoodies, tees and plaid, and without them nothing above would stand. Fourteen Uncommons, ten Rares, eight Epics, four Mythics, two Legendary rulers, each step narrower and stranger than the last. At the top there is room for exactly one. The steps are not ranks of worth. They are how far a plan is from ordinary. Every Muskoge knows its step, and every step knows it is holding the one above.

Every Muskoge has one line. The inscription is the portrait, carved on Dogecoin for good. This page is the stage, where it says its line out loud and answers back. Click one and it speaks. Sixty-nine voices, one family. Much wow.

Inscribed at the frontier

Doginals were born in February 2023. Every Muskoge was inscribed within weeks of that, in one three-day burst, when fewer than a hundred thousand inscriptions existed on Dogecoin. These are artifacts from the frontier days, when the community was first proving the people's crypto could do it all. The numbers below come straight from the chain.

A joke that outlived the joke

Dogecoin launched in December 2013, made by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a light-hearted answer to the serious coins of the day. Its mascot is Kabosu, the Shiba Inu from the "doge" meme, and its captions, much wow, very coin, are the same doge-speak every Muskoge talks in.

Real money, fast and cheap

Under the meme it is a proper blockchain, a cousin of Litecoin and Bitcoin. Blocks arrive about every minute and fees are tiny, which is why tipping, small payments and, later, inscriptions took off on Dogecoin first.

The community is the point

Dogecoin holders sent the Jamaican bobsled team to the Olympics, funded clean-water wells and sponsored a NASCAR. The rallying cry "to the moon" started here, and Elon Musk's public affection for the coin turned Doge and Elon into the internet's favourite double act, which is exactly where Muskoge comes from.

How a coin carries art

Because Dogecoin tracks value the same way Bitcoin does, in tiny units passed between addresses, a file can be attached to those units and travel with them forever. That trick, borrowed from Bitcoin Ordinals, is what makes a Doginal possible.

What is a Doginal?

New to inscriptions? Four things worth knowing before you pick a Muskoge.

Art written into Dogecoin itself

A Doginal is a file, here a JPEG, inscribed directly into a Dogecoin transaction. There is no link to a server and no file that can go missing. The image lives in the blockchain, copied by every node, for as long as Dogecoin exists.

Numbered in the order they were made

Every inscription gets the next number in line, forever. A low number cannot be bought, faked or reissued. It is simply proof of how early a piece arrived.

Owned like a coin, traded like an NFT

An inscription is attached to specific smallest units of a dogecoin. Whoever holds those units in their wallet owns the Muskoge. Send them, and the art goes with them. No contract, no middleman, no approval step.

How to see and collect one

Any Doginal explorer or marketplace shows the on-chain file. Doggy Market lists each Muskoge by number, and a Dogecoin wallet that understands inscriptions, such as the Doge Labs wallet, lets you hold and send them. Every character on this page links to its own inscription and transaction. Owners can also give their Muskoge a new line: sign muskoge #58033: your line with the holding wallet, or inscribe it as a text Doginal, and send it to us.
